The circular emblem of Syed Ammal Engineering College (SAEC) features a red shield inscribed with the motifs of a hammer and spanner, an open book, an electric bulb and a computer representing different branches of engineering ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with its name and motto in Tamil ‘உழைப்பிற்கு இணையில்லை’ meaning ‘No Substitute for Hard Work’. The shield refers to protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the colour red denotes passion, power, strength, courage, determination, energy and celebration; and blue denotes  serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
