The blue gearwheel shaped emblem of Mepco Schlenk Engineering College (MSEC) features the motifs of a factory, an electrical transmission tower, a structure of an atom and a satellite dish antenna referring to the different branches of engineering with its name and motto ‘WOrk is Worship’ inscribed on the gearwheel. The gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure.
