The circular seal of Rise Krishna Sai Prakasam Group of Institutions (RPRA) features a yellow circle housing the motifs of an open book supporting an orange rising sun surmounted by the motifs an electrical tower, a satellite dish antenna, a computer, a human in professional attire and a theodolite ensconced by a white circular border inscribed with its name. At the bottom, on a white banner with red edges ‘PGI’ is written. The book refers to education, learning, knowledge and wisdom; the sun refers to life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; other motifs representing the engineering subjects offered by the Institute. The colour yellow signifies happiness, energy, vitality, focus and creativity.

The laurels refer to success, hard work and perseverance; the green mountains and the rising sun refer to the Northeastern region and the Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.

THE BIHAR REGIMEN The Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim influences intermingled to produce a soldiery which was traditionally arms bearing, disciplined and deeply religious. The Bihar Regiment claims its origins from the sepoy battalions raised in 1758 by Clive at Patna. The Bihari or poorbia or purviah soldier thereafter continued to provide the backbone of The Bengal Infantry of the British. Its Regimental Centre is Danapur, Bihar and its Regimental insignia is the Ashoka lion. Its Regimental motto is ‘Karam Hi Dharam’ (Work is Worship) and its war cry is ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’ (Victory to Bajrang Bali)and ‘Birsa Munda Ki Jai’ (Victory to Birsa Munda).
