The circular seal of Sethu Institute of Technology (SIT) features a gearwheel housing the motifs of a computer, a handheld electronic device, a symbol of ‘power’, a torch and an open book. The gearwheel is placed on a grey circle surmounted by the name of the college and supported by a brown banner with gold outlines inscribed with its motto ‘Knowledge Service Progress’. At the bottom its year of establishment is written. The gearwheel, computer, power symbol, and the electronic device refer to the branches of engineering; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning, and wisdom; the burning torch is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power. The brown colour signifies earthiness, simplicity, stability, humility, warmth, reliability, endurance, timelessness and tradition; and gold signifies wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.

JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY, KAKINADA Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) was established in the year 2008 vide Act No. 30 of 2008 by the State of Andhra Pradesh. The university started as College of Engineering Visakhapatnam founded by the Government of the composite Madras State in 1946. The college became a constituent of JNTU, Hyderabad in 1972. Consequent to the trifurcation of the JNTU, Hyderabad, it was notified as JNTUK Kakinada by the Act of legislature in 2008. INDIAN GRAPE PROCESSING BOARD Keeping the above in mind and to co-ordinate the efforts for promotion and development of the wine industry in India in close association with industry, producers and other stakeholders, the Union Cabinet in its meeting held on January 2, 2009 gave its approval for the establishment of the Indian Grape Processing Board (IGPB) under the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, registered as a society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Board has its headquarters in Pune, Maharashtra that is close to the principal grape growing and processing areas in the country. Its logo has a wine glass with a bunch of grapes and vine leaf in white in a light green circle, which is surrounded by its name in black sans serif text.
