The blue circular emblem of Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology (AMCET) features the image of Mother Mira supported by the iconic Temple of Vellore Fort; an open book and a traditional lamp surmounted by its name as an arc. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Tamil ‘முயற்சி பயிற்சி உழைப்பு’ meaning ‘Effort Training Labour’ is written. The picture of Mother MIra refers to her blessings, guidance and benevolence; the book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students.
