The emblem of College of Engineering Trivandrum features a shield housing the motifs of a building structure, a gearwheel and rack, and three strokes of power representing engineering studies; and a lotus on water. Below the shield, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘कर्म ज्यायोध्य कर्मण’  (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘Action is Superior to Inaction’ is written. The lotus symbolises purity, enlightenment, rebirth, transformation, personal growth, resilience, overcoming obstacles and divine beauty; and the shield refers to denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery.

The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

THE QUAIDE MILLETH COLLEGE FOR MEN (QMCMEN) The emblem of The Quaide Milleth College for Men (QMCMen) features a green gearwheel inscribed with the quote from Quran in Arabic ‘مَن يُؤْتَ الْحِكْمَةَ فَقَدْ أُوتِيَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا ’ (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:269) meaning ‘And whoever is granted wisdom has certainly been granted much Good’ and its motto ‘The Quest’. In the counter of the wheel is a dome of a mosque, an open book, an ink pot with a quill pen and a two pan beam balance. The colour green and the dome refers to the religious affiliation of the college and divine blessings and guidance; the book refers to education, learning and wisdom; the ink pot and pen refers to the heritage of learning, reading and writing; and the balance scale refers to justice, equality and fairness.

The circular emblem in orange and green has a gear wheel housing a pair of laurels and circle containing a map of India and its year of establishment ensconced by its motto ‘Knowledge is Power’ on a green border.
