The emblem of Matsyodari Shikshan Sansatha's College of Engineering and Technology (MSSCET) features a pair of fish supporting a traditional lamp ‘Laman Diva’ of Maharashtra placed above an open book and surmounted by a blue banner inscribed with the name of the managing Trust in Devanagari. At the bottom, the name of the place is written in Devanagari. The fish refers to the Trust; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’. The Staff of Caduceus symbolises medicine and medical profession; the book symbolises the accumulation and dissemination of medical knowledge and the academic foundation of the institution; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; and the laurels are symbols, which represent victory, honour and academic excellence.

UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES The Government of Andhra Pradesh renamed Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences as Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences by amending Sub Section 2 of Section 1 of Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Amendment) Act, 2022. The Act No.19 of 2022 was published in extraordinary issue of the in Andhra Pradesh Gazette No.19 Part-IV-B, dt.28.10.2022. An orbital pattern is placed at the centre on a red traditional lamp. These are circumscribed by the name and place of the college. A black circle ensconces all the elements. The orbital pattern or atom represents basic sciences, nuclear or atomic structure, and the analytical logic that grounds all technical engineering programmes; the lamp symbolises the enlightenment of knowledge over ignorance, while its upward flame signifies continuous growth, progress and the career advancement of women in technology; and the other motifs represent foundational branches of engineering and modern technology taught at the college.
