Its tagline in Sanskrit ‘विश्वास, विकास व विनम्रता ’ meaning ‘Trust, Development and Humility’ is written on the hand. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘ ममृध्द सहकारिता’ meaning ‘Prosperous Cooperation’ is written below the hands. All these are placed in a circle with a purple outline. 16 CORPS The 16 Corps is a corps of the Indian Army raised on June 1, 1972. It has its headquarters at Nagrota Cantonment, Nagrota, Jammu district, Jammu and Kashmir. In 2005 IX Corps (India) was raised in part of the 16 Corps' area, taking over two of its divisions. It is headquartered at at Yol. The sleeve patch of this Corps is red horizontal striped patch intersected with a white stripe in the background and a head of a horse on a slab in the foreground.

INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY) VARANASI The Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) (IIT BHU) Varanasi owes its existence to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, the founder of the first residential University of modern India, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Engineering education in BHU started in 1919 with the establishment of Banaras Engineering College (BENCO). The next stage of development saw the establishment of College of Technology (TECHNO) and College of Mining & Metallurgy (MINMET).
