The assemblage is supported by a banner inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Creating Wingineers’ and surmounted by a blue banner. inscribed with the name of the college. On a grey banner placed atop the emblem’SVKM’s’ is written. The book refers to education, knowledge, learning and wisdom; the tree symbolises the growth and development of students under the college's guidance; and the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
