The emblem of Vighnaharata Trust's Shivajirao S. Jondhale College of Engineering & Technology (SSJCET) features a portrait of the founder Dr. Shivajirao S. Jondhle is circumscribed by the motifs related to education, technology and engineering as the teeth of a gearwheel and placed in a circle. Below the gearwheel,the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’ is inscribed. The seal is supported by a pair of elephants on the sides; supported by a banner at the bottom inscribed with the name of the managing Trust at the bottom and surmounted by a banner inscribed with the name of the Group. A falcon with its wings spread symbolising power, strength, freedom,a divine connection, speed, vision, and grace, often associated with royalty and victory. The elephants signify power, strength, unity and wisdom.

The Staff is supported by green mountains with orange rising sun and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानम् जीवनम् च प्रति’ meaning ‘Towards Knowledge and Life’. These are ensconced by a blue circle around which its name is written. This is supported by a pair of laurels. Below these motifs its acronym is written. The laurels refer to success, hard work and perseverance; the green mountains and the rising sun refer to the Northeastern region and the Staff refers to medicine and the medical profession.

THE BIHAR REGIMEN The Hindu, Buddhist and Muslim influences intermingled to produce a soldiery which was traditionally arms bearing, disciplined and deeply religious. The Bihar Regiment claims its origins from the sepoy battalions raised in 1758 by Clive at Patna. The Bihari or poorbia or purviah soldier thereafter continued to provide the backbone of The Bengal Infantry of the British. Its Regimental Centre is Danapur, Bihar and its Regimental insignia is the Ashoka lion. Its Regimental motto is ‘Karam Hi Dharam’ (Work is Worship) and its war cry is ‘Jai Bajrang Bali’ (Victory to Bajrang Bali)and ‘Birsa Munda Ki Jai’ (Victory to Birsa Munda).
