COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY
(BRHCET) |
The emblem of B.R. Harne College of Engineering & Technology (BRHCET) features a brown gearwheel inscribed with the name of the college and an image of Lord Ganesha ensconcing a circle with the motifs of a power tiller, a set of gear wheels, a torch of knowledge, a twin tower, a diagram of an atom, and a charging station. Below the gearwheel on an orange banner the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योजकः तत्र दुर्लभः’ (3.253.44, Vishnudharmottara Purana) meaning ‘What is Rare is the One Who Can Facilitate or Harness (these) to Good Use’ (Every Living Creature has Some Fault)’ is inscribed. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the motifs in the central circle represent different fields of study and knowledge, including technical or scientific icons.
