COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT
(PRMCEM) |
Prof Ram Meghe College of Engineering and Management (PRMCEM) features a miner working pickaxe placed on the map of peninsular India supported by the college’s motto in Sanskrit ‘तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय’ (Yajnavalkya, 1.3.28, Pavamana Mantra, Brihadaranyaka Upanishad) meaning ‘From Darkness Lead Me to Light’. This assemblage supports a sun-like or wheel-like structure at the top representing enlightenment, knowledge, progress, and the continuous cycle of learning and development. Below these, on an orange banner the name of the managing trust of the college is written. The motif of a person holding a pickaxe within a triangular shape symbolises hard work, dedication, and the pursuit of knowledge or resources, reflecting the effort required in education and research.
