Kolte College of Engineering (VBKCE) features a circle housing the motifs of a set of gear wheels, a power symbol, a structural bridge and a computer in each of its quadrants referring to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology. This circle is ensconced by a border inscribed with the name and place of the college. Below the seal, on a banner, the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘तन्त्रशिक्षनम् सर्वश्रेष्ट’ is inscribed.

BABA GHULAM SHAH BADSHAH UNIVERSITY Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) has come into existence by an Act of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly called the Jammu & Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act No. XVI of 2002 and the same is recognised by the AICTE and UGC, New Delhi, under sections 2F and 12 B. Below the book its motto in Sanskrit ‘तत् त्वं पूषन् अपावृणु’ (15, Shloka, Isavasyopanishad) meaning ‘O Pushan, that I, Truth’s devotee’ and at the bottom the name of the institution is written in Devanagari.
