SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGHJI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (SGGSIET)

The emblem of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology (SGGSIET) features the motifs of two humans with the left and right of the brains highlighted, a dam, a factory placed in an arch inscribed with the name of the college. A map of the globe with an antenna crests the emblem and a pair of sugarcanes along with elephants support the arch. An open book and a rising sun is placed below the arch. At the bottom, the name of the college and its motto in Sanskrit ‘उत्कृष्ट तंत्रज्ञानार्थम् जनशक्ती शिक्षणम्’ meaning ‘Education of Manpower for Technological Excellence’ are written. The highlighted left and right hemispheres refer to creative and logical thinking by the students; the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; sugarcanes refer to the local produce; the elephants refer to power, strength, unity and wisdom; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; and the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity.
