The circular seal of the Yadavrao Tasgaonkar Institute of Engineering & Management (YTIEM) is adorned with a traditional Saraswati Yantra. This central design is crowned by the initials of the managing trust, 'SES', and is encircled by delicate floral patterns. The seal is supported by the name of the managing trust and the year of inception of the college. The seal is ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the college, a pair of laurels, and a set of tools consisting of a spanner, and a pair of gearwheels. The Saraswati Yantra represents Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, wisdom, education, and the arts. It is believed to invoke her blessings and enlightening energy. The laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the tools refer to the subject discipline of engineering.

The central motifs of the winged Staff of Caduceus entwined by a pair of serpents crested with a flaming torch, supported by an open book and a pair of laurels replace the Lion Capital; and the name, place and motto of the college replace the name of the State. The motto of the college in Sanskrit is ‘विद्यया विन्दते अमृतम्’ (Mantra 2.4, Kenopanishad), which translates to ‘Immortality Through Knowledge’.
