FR. C. RODRIGUES INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
(FCRIT) |
The emblem of Agnel Charities FR. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology (FCRIT) features a portrait of Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues, the founder of the Agnel Ashram Fathers, who established the institution in the center is of a circle. The image is circumscribed by a pair of laurels and surmounted by a cross, ‘ॐ’ and a crescent. These are ensconced by a blue circular border inscribed with the name of the college and supported by a banner inscribed with the motto ‘Love Your Neighbour As Yourself’ of the college. The cross above the figure is a prominent Christian symbol, reflecting the religious foundation of the institution, which is run by the Society of the Missionaries of St. Francis Xavier, Pilar. The other religious symbols signify the secular nature of the institution. The laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
