The circular seal of Rajendra Mane College of Engineering & Technology (RMCET) features a pictorial of an abstract butterfly holding the motifs of a computer, an open book, telecommunication equipment, a car, a motorcycle, a set of mechanical tools, engineering instruments, and medical technology equipment  referring to the different subject disciplines of technology and engineering studies. The butterfly is ensconced by a red circular border inscribed with the motto of the college ‘Work is Worship’ and the initials ‘RMCET’ of the college. KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure.
