INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY JAMMU

The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu was inaugurated on August 6, 2016 in Paloura, Jammu. The institute is located in the crown of India - Jammu and Kashmir. The logo gives prominence to the map as it brilliantly speaks about its origin and establishment. The striking splash of the sunlight is designed to form the map. The twenty four spokes of Ashoka Chakra are represented in the logo through the rays of the sun to demonstrate that the institute celebrates Indianness. The map of Jammu and Kashmir is one of the most beautiful maps among the Indian States. The beautiful and bright sunlight is innovatively shaped to form the map of Jammu and Kashmir, clearly communicating the location and its optimistic vision. Its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्याधनं सर्वधन प्रधानम्’ meaning ‘Knowledge is Supreme of All Wealth’ inscribed at the bottom. This logo is designed using Air-Heavy and Shree-Dev-002E and sky blue and blue.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature.
