The Shriram Group had its beginnings in the chit fund business over three decades ago. R Thyagarajan, AVS Raja and T Jayaraman were the ‘three musketeers’ who ventured into these businesses. Shriram Group’s businesses serve the common people through commercial vehicle financing, consumer and enterprise finance, retail stock broking, life insurance, chit funds and distribution of investment and insurance products. The Group has also made investments in manufacturing, value added services, project development, engineering services, pharmaceuticals, machined and auto components, press dies and sheet metal stamping, packaging, information technology, property development etc. The group companies are Shriram GI, Shriram Life, Shriram AMC, Shriram Capital, Shriram Fortune, Shriram Housing, Shriram Properties and Shriram Transport. Its logo has a mascot in the form of a traditional banker financier with formals and a briefcase on a yellow band. Its name is written beside the mascot. Below this its tagline ‘Empowering People Through Prosperity’ is written.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.

GLOBAL CENTRE FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY PARTNERSHIP Global Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnership (GCNEP) comes under the purview of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) of Government of India. The vignetted blue to cyan colour circular logo has a partial structure of atom on top and its acronyms in Devanagari and English. The motto of the institution is written along the circumference in Devanagari ‘राष्ट्र की सेवा में परमाणु’ meaning ‘Atoms in the Service of the Nation, above and below respectively in grey. The taglines are supported on either side by Indian National Tricolour stripes.
