The blue circular emblem of Dhanekula Institute of Engineering & Technology (DIET) gearwheel placed in a blue circle housing the motif of a shield supported by a pair of laurels and surmounted by its motto ‘Building the Future’. The shield is inscribed with the motifs of a satellite with its receiving antenna; an electrical transmission tower; a factory; a laboratory flask, test tube and a beaker; and a computer referring to the branches of engineering taught in the college.. The gear wheel is circumscribed by the name of the Institute. Below the seal, on a red banner, the initials of the college ‘DIET’ is inscribed. The gearwheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the shield refers to protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

The gearwheel is ensconced by a circular border with brown outlines inscribed with the name and place of the college. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels. The motto of the college in Sanskrit in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written on a green banner with red outlines. SANT GAHIRA GURU VISHWAVIDYALAYA The circular emblem of Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya (SGCG), formerly known a s Sarguja University has a circular border in orange and green and has its name, place and motto inscribed in Devanagari and supported by a pair of tribal ornaments. The motto is written in Sanskrit which is an extract from the Kathopanishad ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’, (Shloka 11, Ishopanishad) meaning ‘Immortality is Gained from Learning’. UNIVERSITY OF JAMMU The University of Jammu (UoJ) came into existence in 1969 through the Kashmir and Jammu Universities Act 1969 following bifurcation of the erstwhile University of Jammu and Kashmir. The circular emblem of the university has an open book supporting a lotus with a background of mountains and surmounted by atomic structure.
