The blue circular emblem of Dhanekula Institute of Engineering & Technology (DIET) gearwheel placed in a blue circle housing the motif of a shield supported by a pair of laurels and surmounted by its motto ‘Building the Future’. The shield is inscribed with the motifs of a satellite with its receiving antenna; an electrical transmission tower; a factory; a laboratory flask, test tube and a beaker; and a computer referring to the branches of engineering taught in the college.. The gear wheel is circumscribed by the name of the Institute. Below the seal, on a red banner, the initials of the college ‘DIET’ is inscribed. The gearwheel refers to interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the shield refers to protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the laurels refer to ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.
