The circular seal of Viswajyothi College of Engineering and Technology (VJCET) features a globe supported by a banner inscribed with its motto in Sanskrit ‘विद्या सर्वस्य पूजनम्' meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Worship’ is placed and a traditional lamp ensconced by a circular border inscribed with its name and place. The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; and the traditional lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta.
