The emblem of P. E. S. College of Engineering (PESCE) features a shield housing the motifs of a satellite dish antenna, a computer, a dam and a bridge, an electrical transmission tower, a gearwheel, a car and a factory representing the branches of the engineering study; surmounted by a banner inscribed with its motto in Kannada ‘ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾವಾನ್ ಲಭತೇ ಜ್ಞಾನಂ’(Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Man of Faith Obtains Knowledge’ and supported by a pair of sugarcanes and its year of establishment. Below the assemblage, on a yellow banner, the name of the college is inscribed and its status is written below. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; and the sugarcane refers to the important agricultural produce from the place of the college.
