The emblem of Girijabai Sail Institute of Technology (GSIT) features a black shield with thick golden borders houses the motifs of an open book supporting a rising sun and the initials ‘JGI’ of its managing body. A golden banner inscribed with its motto ‘Knowledge Exists to Be Imparted’  is placed on the shield at the bottom. The name of the college is written below the pictorial. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the facade refers to the gateway to enlightenment through learning; the sun refers to life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; and the golden colour signifies wealth, prosperity, power, prestige and achievement.
