The circular seal of St. Joseph's College of Engineering (SJCE) features a pennant carrying the motifs of a computer, a satellite dish antenna, a pair of gearwheels, a sine wave, a set of laboratory tools, and a pair of electrical transmission towers, supported by a garland on a yellow circle ensconced by a red border inscribed with its name and its place. The motifs on the pennant symbolise the subjects of engineering; the pennant refers to identity, team spirit, respect and courtesy; and the garland refers to love, unity, respect, joy and reverence.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans.
