The emblem of Mysore College of Engineering & Management (MyCEM) features a glowing yellow orange sun superscribed with a motif of a human holding a globe; supported by its acronym ‘MYCEM’  with the letter’M’ depicted as two humans circumscribed by the name of the college. On a red banner placed on the sun at the bottom, the name of the managing body is inscribed. The sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the human refers to the students and other stakeholders; and the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure.
