The gold and black emblem of Nehru College of Engineering and Research Centre (NCERC) features a traditional lamp placed on an open book ensconced by a gearwheel. The motifs are placed within a circular border inscribed with its name and the assemblage is placed on a black black wheel with seven golden dots denoting the stakeholders. At the bottom of the seal on a golden banner, the initials of the college is inscribed. The book refers to learning, education, knowledge, and wisdom; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity and the gearwheel denotes interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure.

No. 15 Squadron NO 15 SQUADRON The No. 15 Squadron of Indian Air Force was formed on August 2, 1951 at Ambala. In 1983, the ‘Flying Lances’ were the first MiG-21 Bis squadron in the Air Force to be modified for the Matra Magic R55, air to air missiles. The squadron was again number plated in 2009 and re-raised in 2012 on the Su-30 at Sirsa AFS. The No. 15 Squadron’s motto is ‘Nihantavya Shatava’ meaning ‘Annihilate the Enemy’. This Squadron is also called ‘Flying Lances’. Its insignia has a flying lancer in the centre with a ball of fire background. It currently operates the Mikoyan MiG-21 from Jodhpur.
