The emblem of Universal Engineering College (UEC) features a blue shield with an orange border inscribed with circles on the sides and stars on the top, housing the motifs of an open book and a torch with flames. The shield is supported by an orange banner inscribed with the college’s motto ‘Enlightenment Through Knowledge’. At the bottom, its initials ‘UEC’ is written in blue sans-serif capitals. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book refers to knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the torch with flame is an emblem of enlightenment, hope, life, truth and the regenerative power; the stars refer to guidance, hope and dreams; and the colour orange signifies energy, vitality, creativity, inspiration, joy and happiness.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
