The emblem of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering & Technology (SDMCET) features a brown Shivling holding a brown circle with the motifs of a gearwheel inscribed with inscribed with the college’s Sanskrit ‘ज्ञान विज्ञान’ meaning ‘Knowledge and Science’; a civil structure, a spanner, a computer and a human denoting the subject and study of engineering supported by the name of the managing Society. Below these, on a brown pedestal, the tagline of the college ‘Commitment, Competence & Teamwork’ is inscribed. This assemblage is ensconced by a border with brown outline is written on with the name of the college and its place. Shivling is a Hindu religious symbol which represents Lord Shiva as the power of all existence, generation, creativity and fertility at cosmic level.

RAJMATA VIJAYARAJE SCINDIA KRISHI VISHWA VIDYALAYA The Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Gwalior was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh on August 19, 2008 by bifurcating the JNKVV, Jabalpur. The green toned circular emblem of the university has a motif of a farmer tilling the soil using cattle and plough placed over an open book signifying the knowledge, wisdom and education of agriculture. Below this its motto in Sanskrit ‘कृषि मूलम् जगत् सर्वम्’ meaning ‘Agriculture is the Root of the World’ is written. All these are ensconced in two circular borders, of which one carries its name and place in English and the outer one carries its name and place in Devanagari supported by a pair of wheat ears. The ears of wheat signifies prosperity, food, wealth and nourishment and the colour green signifies agriculture, nature, growth, balance, harmony, environment, prosperity, vitality, prestige, wealth and being very down to earth.
