The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the network refers to the global connectivity and modern technology networks; the Indian flag symbolises noble nationalism; the tower symbolises the subject of  engineering and technology and the US flag refers to the international academic partnership.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes.
