The gearwheel symbolises technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the central motifs signify the blend of different technical disciplines of computer science, mechanical, and electronics & telecommunication engineering; the colour red symbolises passion, energy, and strength; and blue represents professional integrity, depth of knowledge and stability.

ECGC LIMITED ECGC Limited (Formerly Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd.), wholly owned by Government of India, was set up in 1957 with the objective of promoting exports from the country by providing Credit Risk Insurance and related services for exports. The logo of the Board is based on Devanagari letter ‘उ’ drawn using four swooshes, in which the cyan represents the mountains, blue represents the rivers, red represents the temples of the land and green represents the forests.
