INDUS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (INDUS)

The emblem of Indus College of Engineering (INDUS) features a orange circle with three sets of three blue bold angular strokes in shades of blue supported by the word ‘Indus’ in brown extra bold sans-serif lowercase. The orange circle represents the values of fire (Agni) - purity, intensity, and transformation. It also represents Surya - one of the most learned gods. The blue strokes refer to waves representing the values of water (Jal) - progress, flow, and constant motion. The brown colour is inspired by the values of the earth (Prithvi) - creativity, constant renewal, and dependability. Brown is also the color of Brihaspati (Jupiter) - the guru of the Gods. The white space between the text represents the values of space (Shunya) - tranquility, peace, and tolerance. Overall the emblem reflects the belief of the college that creating a strong focus on basic fundamentals is the most important task of an academic institution.
