DNYANSHREE INSTITUTE ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (DIET)

The emblem of Dnyanshree Institute Engineering and Technology (DIET) features a glowing nib of a pen placed on an open book supporting a pair of profiles of two humans and a gearwheel. These are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name and initials of the college. The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानं परमम् भूषणम् ’ meaning ‘Knowledge is the Supreme Ornament’ is written on a banner supporting this assemblage. The nib of a pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; the book denotes knowledge, education, learning and wisdom; the gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the faces refer to the students and teachers.
