PARALA MAHARAJA ENGINEERING COLLEGE (PMEC) The blue colour emblem of Parala Maharaja Engineering College (PMEC) features a traditional lamp, a red high-rise building, a pair of computers and an electrical transmission line placed in the counter of a blue gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college. On a light blue banner placed below the wheel, the initials of the affiliating university is written. At the bottom, the year of establishment of the college is written. The gearwheel denotes denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines of engineering and technology; and the colour blue signifies serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty.
