The emblem of Eklavya College of Technology & Science (ECTS) features a gearwheel placed on a green circle. The gearwheel is inscribed with a shooting target with an arrow on the eye and an image of a factory. This assemblage is placed in a cradle mount as a globe and the name and place of the college are written along the gearwheel. The motto of the college is written on a banner at the bottom of the mount. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the shooting target with the arrow on the eye symbolises ultimate success, precision, and the achievement of a goal; and the factory refers to engineering and technology.

ECGC LIMITED ECGC Limited (Formerly Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd.), wholly owned by Government of India, was set up in 1957 with the objective of promoting exports from the country by providing Credit Risk Insurance and related services for exports. SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi.
