The emblem of Gandhi Academy of Technology and Engineering (GATE) features a gearwheel inscribed with the name and place of the college. The counter of the gearwheel houses an eighteen-pointed star inscribed with the initials of the college placed on a pedestal and the motifs of a traditional lamp,a hut,  a compass and setsquare, a globe on a stand and a house. The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the star symbolises radiance, complex harmony, high-level structural unity and a multiplication of the mystical meanings associated with smaller stars. The lamp symbolises light, illumination, awakening, devotion, purity, guidance, protection, hope and prosperity; the hut and the house refer to transformation and growth; the setsquare refers to engineering and technology; and the globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness.
