The emblem of Samanta Chandra Sekhar Institute of Technology and Management (SCITM) features a yellow circle housing a shield inscribed with the motifs of a target mark, a diagram of connected nodes, a gearwheel and a wheel. The shield is crested by an orange rising sun and supported by the place of the college and its year of establishment. The motifs are ensconced by a circular border inscribed with the name of the college and its motto in Sanskrit ‘ज्ञानं कौशलं च शक्तिः’ translates to ‘Knowledge and Skill are Power’. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the target represents focus, precision, ambition, and goal achievement; the gearwheel symbolises technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; and the wheel represents motion, progress, and the cycle of time.
