The Arjuna Award trophy is an abstract bronze sculpture of the great epic warrior prince Arjuna of Mahabharata fame, who is known for his skill, dedication, excellence and authority in archery and warfare. He is also the foremost student of Guru Dronacharya. The posture in this trophy is a depiction of his skill in hitting a revolving target by looking at its reflection on the water below.
