The gearwheel is ensconced by a circular border with brown outlines inscribed with the name and place of the college. The seal is supported by a pair of laurels. The motto of the college in Sanskrit in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written on a green banner with red outlines. The gearwheel denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication; and the other motifs refer to the subject disciplines offered by the college.

The motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्’ (Verse 50, Chapter 2, Bhagavad Gita), which translates to ‘Yoga is Skill in Action’ is written on a banner placed below the gearwheel. The gearwheel is a universal symbol of mechanical engineering, industrial progress and automation; the factory symbolises manufacturing, manufacturing plants, and heavy engineering production. It honors the rich mineral and industrial baseline of the Ranchi and Jharkhand regions; the mining towers represent core infrastructure sectors such as civil engineering, mining and oil extraction; and the trees are silhouettes of local trees, recognising the natural landscape of Jharkhand (which translates to ‘The Land of Forests’.
