The gearwheel denotes technology, engineering, interconnectedness, efficiency, precision, progress, advancement, synchronisation, timing, order and structure; the book symbolises continuous learning and academic excellence; the veena representing Lord Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, music and art, symbolising the pursuit of wisdom; and the laurels are symbols of ceremonies, victory, achievement, hard work and dedication.

The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’.
