The emblem of Sri Ram Krishna Mahila College, Giridih (SRKMC Giridih) features a circle with the motifs of an open book, a view of mountains with trees, two electrical transmission towers and an abstract image of coal. The circle is ensconced by an orange circular border inscribed with the name and motto of the college in Devanagari. The motto in Sanskrit reads ‘श्रद्धावान् लभते ज्ञानम्’ (Verse 39, Chapter 4, Bhagavad Gita) meaning ‘The Believer Attains Knowledge’. The book represents the formal academic education provided by the institution; the landscape depicts the local hills and dales of Chhotanagpur Plateau of the Giridih district where the college is located; the coal symbolizes both the mineral richness of the region and positivity and knowledge gained, which is expected to eventually sparkle like a diamond; and the towers refer to the local power generating capacity.
