The emblem of Ran Vijay Smarak Mahavidyalaya, Bokaro (RVS College) (RVSMB) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of an open book, an athletic figure, a set of three flying birds, a building and abstract human figures. Above the shield, on a banner, the name of the college is written in Devanagari and below the shield on a yellow banner the motto of the college in Sanskrit ‘विद्या विनम्र स्तुते’ meaning ‘Knowledge Bestows Humility’ is written. The shield denotes protection, courage, heritage, authority and bravery; the book is a universal emblem of knowledge; the athlete represents the emphasis on physical growth and development alongside academics; the birds symbolise freedom, joy, and new beginnings ; the building refers to the institution; and humans refer to the stakeholders of the college.
