The emblem of Government Polytechnic for Women, Srinagar (GWP Srinagar) (GWPS) features a geometric arrangement resembling an interconnected trefoil or a stylized variation of the universal female symbol (♀) fused together representing community, unity, and a collaborative network of learning. Inside each ring section, real photos of the campus and vocational training environments are embedded.  The motto of the college ‘Empowerment Through Technical Education’ and the foundation year of the college circumscribe the motif. The name and place of the polytechnic are inscribed on a red banner placed below the motifs. All these are ensconced by a pair of circular outlines.
