The globe denotes education, knowledge, influence, timelessness, global unity and interconnectedness; the sun represents life, energy, power, positivity, illumination, light and clarity; the flame symbolises transformation, passion, destruction and spiritual purification; the pen symbolises freedom, intelligence, creativity, professionalism, determination and diligence; and the wings universally symbolise freedom, spirituality and transcendence, representing the human desire to rise above earthly limits and connect with the divine.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’.
