The emblem of Jharkhand Cooperative Law College (JCLC) features a shield inscribed with the motifs of a two pan beam balance, a burning torch and a stack of books ensconced by a border inscribed with the name and year of inception of the college. Below the shield, on a bow-tie the motto of the college ‘Justice to All’ is written. The scales are the scales of justice representing fairness, balance and impartiality in the legal process; the burning torch symbolises enlightenment, truth and guidance; and the books represent learning, written knowledge and judgment.

UTTARANCHAL UNIVERSITY Uttaranchal University has come a long way since its inception in 2013 providing world class multidisciplinary education. The university's mission is to inculcate the essence of the Sanskrit Shloka ‘पदं हि सर्वत्र गुणैर्निधीयते’ meaning ‘Good Qualities Put their Footprints Everywhere’. The logo of the university has a blue and green abstract pictorial of ‘U’ and on its right a wordmark of its name in capitals thin serif letters with smooth transition of strokes. The counter of the ‘U’ is filled blue and a stroke of blue and green flows across diagonally from left to right top. This is further cut out by another ‘U’ at the top right corner. The colour blue represents serenity, calmness, trust, spirituality, calmness, wisdom, freedom, openness, intelligence and loyalty and the colour green denotes life, production, fertility, agriculture, environment and nature. The logo is modern, trendy and attractive.
