The emblem of College of Engineering Muttathara (CEM) features a pair of elephants supporting a handshake referring to cooperative learning; an open book referring to education and knowledge; and an atomic structure referring to the study of engineering science. At the bottom, a banner placed between the elephants is inscribed with ‘CAPE Kerala’. The name of the colleges is written on a banner placed at the bottom. The elephants represent the State of Kerala.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans.
