GS1- India is a not for profit supply chain standards body promoted by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, FIEO, IMC, APEDA, Spices Board, IIP and BIS to spread awareness and provide guidance on adoption of global standards in supply chain management by Indian industry for the benefit of consumers, industry, government etc. GS1 India is the only organisation in India authorised to issue company prefix numbers for use in barcodes, RFID tags etc. for unique, unambiguous and universal identification of products, cartons, containers etc. GS1 standards find wide application in supply chains across sectors for unique yet universal product, consignment and entity identification, electronic data interchange (EDI), product data synchronisation etc. GS1 standards are the defacto global standards in identification of consumer products in retail. GS1 standards enable improved efficiency, safety and visibility of supply chains across physical and digital channels. GS1 India is an affiliate of GS1 Global Office, twin headquartered at Brussels, Belgium and Lawrenceville, New Jersey United States of America, which oversees operations of a network of over 100 GS1 organisations across the world. Its logo has five blue coloured eccentrically placed circles touching at its right side overwritten by GS – in white and one in blue. At the bottom in orange colour, ‘India’ the name of the ;participating country is written.

SRMU is built upon the excellence of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges (SRMGPC) in engineering and business education. Its emblem has a red pot of nectar spewing out from a red vessel which has its motto ‘विद्ययाऽमृतमश्नुते’ meaning ‘Knowledge enjoys Immortality’ taken from Ishopanishad Verse 11, written on and supported by the blue globe with latitudinal and longitudinal lines. The spewed nectar falls as drops for the stakeholders benefit. These are ensconced in a border on which its name and the State is inscribed. GOA UNIVERSITY Goa University (GU) has three campuses in Panaji, Margao and Vasco da Gama. Its history dates back to the 17th century, when the Portuguese established the first university courses in Goa. However, it wasn't until after Goa was annexed by India that the university was consolidated, with the University of Mumbai establishing the Centre for Postgraduate Instruction and Research (CPIR) in Panaji in 1962.
