NATIONAL TEST HOUSE
The National Test House (NTH), a subordinate office under the administrative control of Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India is a premier scientific Institution of the country, established way back in 1912 under the then Railway Board and since then it has grown into a laboratory of national importance in the field of testing, evaluation and quality control of various engineering materials and finished products. The prime scientific and technological service what NTH discharges among other allied services is the testing, quality evaluation and ensure the quality of almost all sorts of industrial and consumer products except drugs, arms and ammunition by issuing test certificate in accordance with the national or international or customer standard and specification. The logo of NTH has a hand holding a test tube in the centre surrounded by a background of laboratory and a magnet. This is encircled with its name in Devanagari and English. It is crested by the Lion capital of India in red.

CHENNAI ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE (CASC) The emblem of Chennai Arts and Science College (CASC) features a yellow shield with green outlines inscribed with the monogram of the initials of ‘CASC’ depicting a diagram of an atom. PALLAVA DYNASTY - BULL The Pallava Dynasty existed from 275 CE to 897 CE, ruling a significant portion of the Deccan, also known as Thondaimandalam. The dynasty rose to prominence after the downfall of the Satavahana dynasty, with whom they had formerly served as feudatories. The Pallavas became a major South Indian power during the reign of Mahendravarman I(600–630 CE) and Narasimhavarman I (630–668 CE), dominating for about 600 years, until the end of the 9th century. Kancheepuram served as the capital of the Pallava kingdom.  They developed the Pallava script, from which, Grantha ultimately took form. This script eventually gave rise to several other Southeast Asian scripts such Khmer. The Chinese traveller Xuanzang visited Kanchipuram during Pallava rule and extolled their benign rule. DESH BHAGAT UNIVERSITY The orange and blue emblem of Desh Bhagat University (DBU) has a nib of a pen divided into three vertical parts denoting research, innovation and entrepreneurship, with its acronym ‘DBU’ written on it. ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY Aligarh Muslim University grew out of the work of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. Raja Jai Kishan helped Sir Syed in establishing the university. The British decision to replace the use of Persian in 1842 for government employment and as the language of Courts of Law caused deep anxiety among Muslims of the sub-continent. His purpose for the establishment of the Scientific Society in 1864, in Aligarh. Sir Syed's son, Syed Mahmood, who was an alumnus of Cambridge prepared a proposal for an independent university to the Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College Fund Committee upon his return from England in 1872. Syed Mahmood continued to work along with his father in founding the college. By 1920 the college was transformed into the Aligarh Muslim University.
