The circular seal of J D College of Engineering and Management (JDCOEM) is the embodiment of petals turning into a bloom of matured flower which is nurtured at the hands of able mentors’ who together provide tireless guidance, care to the students and help them evolve in their chosen field. The motto of the college 'Education to Eternity' is written below the seal. The emblem is created with orange, blue, grey, white and black colours. The colour orange represents enthusiasm, fascination, happiness, creativity, determination, attraction, success, encouragement; the black color denotes strength and authority; grey epitomises sophistication, practical timeless knowledge; and white symbolises brilliance, understanding, cleanliness, beginnings, possibility, humility, sincerity, and perfection.

KALINGA INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with two staff and twelve students. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans.
