Akshaya Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 1995 under the stewardship of Mr. T. Chitty Babu, a qualified civil engineer. Since its inception, Akshaya has set higher standards for itself, inspired by the Sanskrit origin of its name, which means ‘endless pursuit’. Its word mark logo in black and orange uses a larger X-height bold sans serif font, in which the alphabet ‘A’ has been treated like a dwelling with two colours and has no horizontal strokes. Below this its tagline 'Uncompromise' is written.

SAMBALPUR UNIVERSITY The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 and the University started functioning from January 1, 1967. The university was inaugurated on January 4, 1967. In 1973 the University was shifted to the present campus named Jyoti Vihar at Burla. The emblem of the university has the motifs of gear wheels, chimney and electric transmission tower representing industry; plough representing agriculture; deer representing the local wildlife; an open book denoting knowledge and wisdom; a torch symbolising light, truth and power; the Wheel of Konark symbolising Odisha’s culture and history and river symbolising Mahanadi. All these are ensconced by a circular border and along the border the name of the university is written. The motto of the university in Sanskrit ‘विद्यया विन्दतेऽमृतम्’ (Verse 4 II, Kena Upanishad) meaning ‘By Self-knowledge Immortality is Attained’ is written at the bottom of the emblem.
