Nalpak Restaurants is a partnership firm with its office registered in Karnataka. The company carries out its major operations from Karnataka. Nalpak has been synonymous with Mysore from the time it was started three decades ago by an Entrepreneur Mr. R Venkatesh, son of late Ranga Rao of cycle brand agarbatti. since the beginning it has always stayed true to its motto ‘Everything in Good Taste’. Each individual in team Nalpak personally believes and follows to the last letter of the saying 'Atithi Devo Bhava'. Its word mark logo has its name written in red with two swashes of orange and yellow emanating from ‘k’, the pictorial has its name and a hand holding a freshly cooked steaming food in a bowl. Its tagline is written in blue at the right bottom.

KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta. The green colour emblem of the institute has a bottom half of a gear wheel supporting the acronym ‘KIIT’ of its name in which the two ‘i’s depicting two humans. The gear wheel symbolises interconnectedness; efficiency and precision; progress and advancement; synchronisation and timing and order and structure.
